These major roof works involved the erection of scaffolding and a temporary roof, the careful stripping and removal of Collyweston slates, the implementation of new structural timbers, and re-fixing of slates. New copings, ashlars, finials and pointing were also undertaken, alongside leadworks and the instillation of new cast iron rainwater goods. New bronze casement and decorated hardwood windows were installed on the first floor.
