Bagots Castle
Baginton, Warwickshire.
This work to the ruins, which date from the 14th century, included the reduction of certain areas to ground-level, the raking-out, repointing and consolidation of masonry, backfilling of walls, and soft capping to wall tops. Tree stumps and roots were removed, and MOT type 2 and granite gravel were introduced to the floor areas. A ramp and steps were introduced.
