Nottingam-Floor Works.

St Mary's Church is located in the Lace Market area of Nottingham and underwent major works to introduce a new underfloor heating system in four areas  totalling 350 M2.  The floor areas were hand excavated and limecrete slab introduced with a glasscrete finish over the underfloor heating.

To complete the floor works, a bespoke design of stone flooring was introduced.  The design is of a herringbone layout and the stone used was Corncockle and Ancaster Weather bed in alternating bands. Historical stonework was discovered below ground level and highlighted with glass viewing panels in the floor.

Other heating improvements and electrical works associated with the project were undertaken.
