St Mary’s

Bitteswell.

This 13th century church was given a modern extension sympathetic to its original style. It was constructed using a local supply of reclaimed granite and new dressed Woodkirk Yorkstone masonry. The extension is joined to the church through a new arched doorway created in the North Aisle and provides a meeting room, kitchenette and toilets. A new path allows wheelchair access to the church.
